Thornwood Legacy

Thornwood Legacy is a role-playing game that leans hard into its characters. You assemble a party, manage gear and skills, and work through a branching story that remembers your choices. The writing is above average for a mobile RPG, with side quests that aren't just filler.

Battles are turn-based and position-aware, so where you stand matters as much as what you cast. We spent a satisfying amount of time theorycrafting party compositions, and respeccing is cheap enough to encourage experimentation.

Progression never felt grindy, which is rare. The game respects your time with generous checkpointing and quick travel. If you like stories and builds in equal measure, this one's a keeper.
